On Wednesday 16 December, the Education and Training Foundation will host a Chairs’ leadership and development event. In this session we look at how a college is not only reviewing its board diversity and inclusion but how this has impacted on a whole college approach to inclusivity and unconscious bias.
The event will be chaired by Sir Frank McLoughlin and the speakers will be Sally Dicketts, CEO Activate Learning and President of the AoC and Pauline Odulinski Chair of City College Plymouth and Chair of Search and Goverence at Activate learning.
The session will:
• Provide the opportunity to hear the views and insights of two of the leading figures in the sector
• What practical steps they have taken as a Board to review the Board diversity
• How this has impacted not only on the Board but the whole organisation
• Facilitate networking in a ‘safe’ environment.
The event takes place from 2pm to 3.30pm. It is exclusively for Chairs of FE Provider organisations and a maximum of 42 places are available.
