Eligible institutions (primarily FE colleges) have been invited to attend webinars supporting the introduction of Accountability Agreements on 01/02/2023, 15:00 – 01/02/2023, 16:30. If you are interested in attending, please contact your college as places are limited to 2 per institution.
Accountability Agreements form part of the wider set of reforms underway to transform the skills system, so it better supports young people and adults to develop the skills they need to get a good job and ensuring a clearer focus on the delivery of outcomes.
The Agreement allows you to focus in on what and how you intend to deliver to support local, regional, and national needs.
The Accountability Agreement consists of two parts. Part 1 is the Accountability Framework and Part 2 is the Annual Accountability Statement. In December 2022, the DfE published guidance to support providers in completing their first Annual Accountability Statement.
Two places are available for each institution and these will be free of charge. Each individual will need to register for this event. This webinar will be of most use to those who will be responsible for drafting your statement.
The webinar will include the opportunity to hear from your peers that have been involved in the Accountability Agreement pilot and supported development of the product itself. It will also include an outline of further support that will be available, should you require it.
Please do contact Accountability.AGREEMENTS@education.gov.uk with any further questions you may have.
