Veronica is experienced in both public and private sector governance with a range of skills to oversee and
implement strong effective governance for charities and ‘not for profit entities’. Assignments have
included reviewing organizational structures in line with regulatory requirements and governance
codes. Implementing quality improvement plans, evaluating progress against KPIs and looking
beyond existing structures to develop more effective Board oversight.
Provided interim governance services to a GFE college. Applying organizational skills with a
pragmatic and practical approach to managing business cycles and in providing advice to Boards and
executive management. Recently producing a summary report on the ‘Skills for Jobs’ White paper.
I undertook voluntary work in the FE sector over a 10 year period serving as a governor, Governance
